Orchestral Tools have teamed up with award winning composer Pēteris Vasks to bring a unique collection of ensemble chamber strings complete with first chairs. Inspired and guided by Vasks himself and his piece "Voices" this is a chamber string library that is rich in detail, expression and life. Not only is this collection perfect as a more traditional chamber string library, Orchestral Tools have sampled Pēteris Vasks unique articulations which are presented here as gestures. Recorded at St John's church in Riga, everything about this library screams passion, emotion and uniqueness.
Our special thanks to Orchestral Tools for providing a copy of the library for this video.
Small disclaimer: I have had to record this video outside of my studio on my laptop. If listening at high volumes you may hear my laptop fans slightly. Please be assured Peteris Vasks Strings does not have this layer of high end, although there is a lovely room sound!
