Studio Sounds is excited to present Immortal, a custom Omnisphere preset bank inspired by the dark drill sound of artists such as Pop Smoke, Fivio Foreign, Sheff G, 22Gz & more.
Whether its the booming and memorable tone of Pop Smoke (RIP) or the raw and gutter sound of 22Gz, drill beats typically consist of unnerving, dark melodies accented by thundering bass slides/808s and trap drums. The sound itself can quickly go from sounding monumental and colossal to sounding like a straight horror movie soundtrack, and it is quickly becoming a staple in today’s production game.
Immortal is a completely custom Omnisphere bank designed to place the user directly in the midst of today’s drill sound. Loaded with everything from detuned plucks to horror-inspired pads, this bank will prove itself useful in many situations. While drill is widely recognized for its 808 slides, a lot of the beats also feature heavy sub-basses, which are all included in Immortal as well.
This bank also includes 10+ custom FLP files to inspire you and give you some ideas on how the sounds can be flipped (Gross Beat required for FLP files).
