Developer: That Worship Sound
From producer Gary Sexton, Ambient Pads Vol 2 for Omnisphere 2 seeks to provide patches that are “playable and usable” while also being “inspiring and full of motion”!
My hope was to create sounds that are:
dark and subtle enough to be used for underscoring a speaker
interesting enough to be used as a texture when only a few notes are sustained
flexible enough to be used in both soft and loud moments in most ballads
Many of these patches originated from songs I’ve been producing for church over the past 18 months. When producing, I often like to layer several sounds together and add 3rd party FX to create something truly unique and full of vibe. This patch release recreates those layered sounds and 3rd party FX that I like to use but in a single patch format and utilizing only Omnisphere’s built-in FX. Special attention was paid to the mod wheel to transform each patch by either adding some brightness, shimmer reverb, or bringing in another layer(s). I hope you find these patches fresh, inspiring, and usable for your context (whether that be live or studio).
